The essence of life can sometimes boil down to something as simple as just having time. Time to reflect. Time to think. Time to be.
Recently I feel like I’ve had some of that kind of time. The music that has come out of that feels very natural. This supports my belief that compromise is the price you pay for rushing through things.
This recording of acoustic guitar is done with a partial capo on the 7th fret pushing down the A, D, and G strings. The song is written in D, but the tonic somehow feels it should be played lower. Hence, the accompaniment of bass guitar, drums and a keyboard pad to help fill it out. I hope you enjoy this piece as much as I had recording it.
